Kinda scary but really does work!

I have an elderly father and I myself also have issues opening super tight jars. I usually resort to the rubberband method to open jars. Sometimes it doesnt totally work. With this mechanical jar opener, my hands dont hurt force opening the jar. The contraption needs 2 double a batteries to run and is not included in the package. No problem. Easy install of the batteries on top. To work the jar opener, just place the contraption on top of the jar you want to open and simply push the green button. Its kind of loud but totally hands free! The scary part is when it twists the lid open violently. If youre not prepared, it will be loud. Solid product.

Wow it works!

I had mixed feelings about this jar opener. I love that I no longer have to struggle with opening a jars, but also gets scared when it pops at the end. If you get scared easily I would recommend starting back when its opening.

Helps hurting hands and wrists.

I have used this opener a few times and like that it is easy to use. I wish it worked a little faster, but I learned to open my jars before I start cooking so Im better prepared. I tried opening a jar one day and was unsuccessful because I had pain in my hands and wrist. I quickly grabbed the jar opener and let it do the work that I couldnt.
